For our First Game I have a couple ideas...

A sonic version of Pong

A sonic version of a falling Block game

An RPG game of any sort.

Remember we need to start out simple. Rpg's aren't simple or easy but the programming shouldn't be too hard I guess.

Welcome to the game development world! As for ideas... Idea #1: A Smash Bros. like fighting game featuring sonic characters from throughout the series lifetime Idea #2: The traditional Sonic Platformer. More coming soon... RPGs arn't too difficult if you use programs like RPG Maker, but programming one using code is a little harder.

How about a simple platform-like game, where you try to collect moving rings while dodging bombs or something like that on a platform level?

I have GM6.1 Pro and GM7 Lite. The Pro is only on my desktop, which seems to be having difficulties running GM games after the motherboard crashed, so I only can test the games using GM7 Lite on my laptop.

BTW, I'm sending the script now.
